Hi all, so I'm using my aging PC when suddenly the screens go blank, still got power, fans running etc. Note I have 2 monitors connected so It's not the monitor because both were working.
When I switch the PC on I all the fans start running and the lights are lit up on the graphics card and motherboard but cant get anything on screen. My keyboard is illuminated ( although CAPS LOCK not lighting up when pressed ) but I don't hear the windows start up tune.
At first I thought it was the graphics card because I've had the screens go blank before then re appear with the message about device driver successfully recovered but if this was the case would I not hear the windows start up tune after switching on.

Any help appreciated, cheers.

EDIT : IT's the GPU, I had a old one in my loft which is faulty but can still output a signal, after plugging it in I get the message " PLEASE POWER DOWN AND CONNECT THE PCIe POWER CABLE FOR THIS CARD "

Although I am now thinking could it be the PSU as I never saw that message when I used it before..
