Hi,

I changed my dying PSU for this one:

DEEP COOL DQ750-M-V2L 750 Watt 80 Plus Gold

and now to turn on PC I have to press restart button on my extension lead. Then my PC starts up, doesn't need to press power button. Power button works only for shutting down PC.
Never had this issue before on old PSU.
Please help

Erm, dunno. This is normally something set in the BIOS. There is a sense on the PSU though, so I guess that must be faulty? I wonder, did you use the new cables or the old ones from your old PSU? ( You should never, ever do that and you are darn lucky that's your only issue if you did!!)

this is very strange. as the button works but only to turn off id check the poistion of the PWR switch is the right way up and in the PWR slot on mobo
