Having some probs with computer I've built for mum. Not the latest stuff but the hardware is all new.
Ok so here's the prob, everythings setup, mobo in case, psu, ,cdrom, etc.
Problem is I can't actually get the thing started :S
When I plug in power cable to PSU, the computer starts up on its own, nothing shows up on monitor though.
I can't turn it off via power button (holding over 4 secs), I can't even turn it on via power button. Only way I can start it is plugging the power cable into PSU.
I've checked the front panel cables and they're all in OK. Even tried just using screwdriver on power switch pins but they have no effect.
When I do plug in the power cable and the computer starts, everything appears normal i.e. fans spin up, hdd spinning, cd rom active, yet nothing shows up on monitor.
Any idea?
