Im building a pc for a friend in another country where the plugs are different, I've checked with the psu manufacturer and they say using an english psu is fine but I will need to supply my own power cable. I've asked him to look for ones where he lives, but Im just wondering if theres anything I should ask him to look out for?

Nah, not really mate- it's just a standard IEC connector with a 5amp fuse if the electrical system is fused at the outlets in his country. Nothing special :)

Unlikely to be the case unless they use BS1363 plugs, which is only the UK mainland, Ireland and some former colonies (?) [cyprus, singapore, malta, malaysia] in which case he could just send the lead as is anyway.

(remember to set the voltage switch on the PSU correctly unless its an autoranging one and doesn't have a switch)
