Power cables - are they included with PSU?

Hi

I have just received my components today including a Zalman ZM850 PSU.

It does not come with a power cable (i.e. to plug into the wall and supply electricity to the PSU). Should it? I have never heard mention of needing to buy the power cable separately.

It's a bit frustrating when the rest of my computer is now built and ready to roll!

Thanks for any help

John

Well, most will I would have thought...Most even come with both a european and UK one.

Might be worth looking on the box / 'manual' and see if it has a "What's in the box" section.

Tricky....

I found a list of contents now - it says "Power cable (not included in some countries)", so maybe that is it?

Probably something worth sticking on the FAQ - I wouldn't think to check whether a cable is included.

Thanks for your replies.

It is illegal to sell an electrical appliance in the UK without a plug fitted. Not sure if this is included in that, but would think so.

Without a plug, is slightly different to a detachable, standard cable.

I'm not sure if it should come with one or not, it might be worth contacting the retailer and see what they say.
