Looks like theyve ripped off the phoebus software, wonder how asus feel about that.

Does look like a better alternate though assuming it sounds good, tempting to get one to compare to my phoebus on my 612 pros.... unless ocuk wish to donate one :D

The software is it's weakest point took me a good few minutes to even realise i had to right click on something to find the options. Also Xear is C-Medias own software so it's more likely that the pheobus software is a re-skinned a more visually pleasing version of this.

Sound wise it's a worthy challenger to the pheobus it probably creeps in on the STX IIRC. I can only compare it to onboard and the X7 on my desk from what I've heard it's upto the job.

agree with the review the daughter card could do with a a shield to match the main card and the cables could do with braiding but it does look good and the review was pretty decent.
