Power connection for rx580

Hi I just ordered one of the specials the Powercolor rx 580 and was wondering if I have the power connections for this card, at the moment I have 2x6 plus 1x2 power plugs for a GPU and as far as I can see in the specs it needs 1x8 plus 1x6, can I just add the 2 to a 6, any help ?

Yes - that's exactly what the extra +2 is for, 6+2=8 pin, it's designed like that so it can be used for either 6 pin or 8 pin cards.
