Power Connection Question

I have just bought this board........... DFI LanParty UT NF4 Ultra-D (Socket 939) PCI-Express Motherboard (MB-014-DF) .....

And the power connection on the board is different to the one coming from my psu......my psu has 4 less pins than the board .....24 pin for the board and the psu has a 20 pin plug do i need a new psu...

Either a new psu or an adaptor 20 pin to 24 pin. about £3.

According to DFI yes.
It's going to depend on what PSU you have I reckon and what your hooking up to it.

i am gonna order a hiper type r 580 ....saves the hastle of me not having enough power........cheers for the replies
