Hi, i have a eVGA nForce 680i Motherboard and a FSP Sparkle Epsilon 600 PSU.
I need an 8pin connector for the PSU power socket on the motherboard, however the PSU doesn't have an 8pin connector, it has what i can assume to be 2 4pin connectors (CPU1 and CPU2) to do the same job.
I was wondering if these connectors really were for that socket because the CPU1 connector is keyed perfectly, however CPU2 will fit, but is not keyed exactly the same as the socket on the motherboard (some square connectors with cut of bottoms in square holes). Both CPU1 and CPU2 seem to be 12V connectors which is whats required.
I was looking for some reassurance that this would work, because i really dont want to damage my system.
Thanks.
