looking for a power consumption plugin that can display total usage to app or pc, so guessing bluetooth/wifi, does such a thing exist? so when using pc can tell usage rather than using afterburner hwinfo etc

want to play around with efficiency, just a project.

One option if you want to see total system power consumption at the wall is to use something like a Tapo energy monitoring plug with the app (not all smart plugs do energy monitoring so check the model).

yep total at wall, seen plenty lcd screen plugs, but bit of faff looking, maybe im just lazy(i wish had time) have to look deeper they only showing 24hr/7day etc from what can see:)

I've got TP Link smart sockets and they're able to do energy monitoring via an app. But you'd need to check if they're able to handle the draw of a PC, they might only be suitable for light load items.

IIRC they (the TP Link/Tapo ones) are rated for 1800 watts or something but they do get a little warm around 1kw.

EDIT: Product page says "Maximum Loaded Wattage: 2990W" but I'm not sure I'd put that through them.
