Power cut now no pc

Hello guys,

Need some advice, I was on Facebook when we had a power cut, now the pc won't boot up it powers on for a few seconds then shuts down again I can't get into bios or anything, any ideas?

Have you tried resetting the bios from the back of the mobo or battery mate?

I've taken battery out, put it back in but still not working

how long did you leave it out for?

best to give it a few minutes

And did you unplug it from the mains when you took the battery out ? , hasnt your motherboard got a cmos reset jumper ?

it could have taken out your psu,ive had that happen with a power cut,leave mb battery out for a good 30mins and try

On a plus note, I tried taking out all ram except 1 stick it it loaded up, so gonna try one stick at a time
