Hi, I've had the problem of my pc rebooting after powering down for several weeks. I had it solved and now cant remember how i fixed it. I think it was something to do with an ancpi driver or summit. I tried numerous solutions bios options etc such as power on with usb mouse etc. But it was something to do with the power wether it was a software solution or changing even the plug the pc was plugged into.

Any suggestions as to how to resolve this?

Computer is 100% stable apart from this.

DFI RDX 200 CF(939)
x2 3800(939)
2Gb Crucial 3200 Ram
HIS x1950 Pro 256Mb
Audigy 2 ZS
Hiper 580W Modular

Thanks for anyhelp in advance!

My friend had this and it was his network card that caused it. Once it was swapped out it stopped rebooting on hard power down but still did it on soft power down.

I'm pretty sure its software based. I took the time at the weekend to go through all the connections 1 by 1 :( not fun...

cheers though
