Power draw on graphics cards

I am currently deciding on what graphics card I should buy. It is currently between a 560 twin frozr, 570 twin frozr or a 6950 (twin frozr doesn't unlock). If the 6950 is cheap, quiet and has a good % of successful unlocks then that would be ideal. Noise is important though.

My PSU is a corsair TX750. Processor is 2500k to be clocked to 4.8ghz under a Noctua D-14. As I plan to to SLI in the near future, would this PSU rule out the nvidias? Considering that I would overclock them. I know the 6950s wouldn't be an issue, but the gtx's have a bigger power draw, especially when overclocked. I suspect 570's could be a problem. Also, would the 1gb of ram on the 560 matter too much?

Thanks, Rich.

Amazing what you find if you google it ;)..

GeForce GTX 570 in 2-way SLI

* A second card requires you to add another ~225 Watts. You need a 750+ Watt power supply unit if you use it in a high-end system (800+ to a KiloWatt is recommended if you plan on any overclocking).

Thanks. I was using wattage calculators, but they were giving me amazingly diverse answers +/- 200. The reason for all the graphical power is that I am going back to university next year, and I know that I wont be able to afford another computer for 3 years. I want to be able to play games at high detail for that period, so im shelling out now. I would probably get a GTX 580 if I had the money for it now, but I dont. SLI is a way for me to spread the cost slightly.

Oh ye and maybe 3d after a price drop :D

Sounds about right. Definitely wouldn't be able to overclock the cards in SLI, but I should be able to still have a hefty OC on my 2500k. I think the fact that I wouldn't be able to overclock them would make me more inclined to go for a 560 twin frozr SLI or a 6970
