Power / Grounding Issue?

Sorry if this is in the wrong category.

I have had numerous hardware fail on me, PUS, GPU, MB and was wondering if it could be a power issue. How can i ensure good, safe, clean electricity to my PC? How to ensure everything is "grounded" and avoid Electrostatic Discharges?

And is that all i would need to ensure safe power in all forms? Any other tips to prevent electrostatic discharges or grounding issues?

If you leave your PSU plugged in all the time, it will be grounded, grounding the case etc as well.
