OK guys,
I have a 1.5 tb HDD as my media drive, which up until now has been ok, but has started to have issues,
Playback of movies etc has become slow, this issue was temporarily fixed when i changed the drive path for the HDD, but after the 2nd reboot, the issue returned
Note: This temporary fix also fixed an issue with crysis crashing
OK, so past history,
On my last rebuild, i had started to have intermittent power failures and failed startups
This problem fixed itself while i was away for a week, and the power failures ceased
Only major changes i can make out is that the PC is being used more recently
I'm thinking its the PSU, but any other ideas would be great
System is an
AMD Phenom 9950
8 Gig OCZ DDR2 800 Mhz Memory
500 Gig WD HDD (System drive)
Samsung 1.5 TB HDD (media Drive)
OCZ 700 Watt PSU
