Right Got my new system build in mind but i need help with the power

Spec

GA-880GM-USB3 MOBO
Amd Phenom II X2 Dual-Core (565) 3.4GHz Processor L2 Cache (2x515KB) Socket AM3 - Black Edition
Corsair Value 4096MB (1x4096MB) Memory Module 1333MHz PC3-10666 DDR3 DIMM 240pin CL 9-9-9-24

My question is what PSU should I get? What Wattage?

Antec PSU s are good at moment.

Or if no graphics card planned what about this well received Corsair jobbie.

Go with the Antec one, its modular and you really only need about 550 watts.

Why?

Even with a mid/high end GPU like a 6850 in there that system won't use more than 250-300w. The 430w Corsair will be more than enough.

The Antec would be better, only because it's modular though.

thanks guys due to budgeting ive upped the cpu to a x4 and 8gb ram. i was thinking of something like this

No,

Never buy a case/PSU combination, of no brand....Antec maybe...but no don't do it unless you want to see a puff of smoke in the near future and some sparks....

Look at the Antec PSU again please. Or check out the OCZ's, Corsairs etc.

Because buying 1 PSU for upgrading in the future is always better than buying half a dozen

OcUK have done some great combo deals... good cases with good psu's, a combo is fine as long as you do your research on the psu.
