Hi all,
Someone help please,
I recently upgraded my system and I just become terrified when I saw the R9 290X power hungriness.
My question is will 2 R9 290X get enough juice with this setup?
Asus maximus hero mobo
i7 4770 K OC ed to 4,200 Mhz
Corsair H80i Hydro watercooler on cpu +2 fans on radiator
2x 4 gb ddr 3 ram (corsair tuning edition)
NZXT phantom 530 full tower (3 fans 1x 140, 2x 120)
1x SSD samsung 840 evo
1x external samsung 2 TB (usb)HDD
1x DV RW writer
3x various usb devices( Keyboard, camera, mouse wireless)
the PSU is NZXT 1000 W hale 90
I already have a sapphire r9 290X,
and I plan to buy on this week a second one to crossfire them.
On interwiews I read they can eat even 780 W at full load (together)
I am confused. I checked my config with Extreme powersupply calculator it said my power usage is 865 W so theoritically the PSU supposed to be enough to handle it? Or not?
