Just moved my PC to a new Evolv x and I seem to have a weird issue - when I power down, it won't power on until I unplug and plug back in. Can't think of anything shorting it out....any ideas?

Does it refuse to power on when you drain all power to the motherboard by pressing start button for 10 seconds or so while system is off?

Don't try this right now but if it comes to it, detach all the case I/O PWR/RESET cables and test by using motherboard's Start button (or short the two PWR pins with screwdriver if no button).

System:

AMD 2700X
Gigabyte B450-M (F5 bios)
Nvidia 980 GTX
Creative AE-5
Corsair AX1200 (original one)
32GB RAM (4*8 corsair 3200mhz vengeance)

So my PC worked fine in my Corsair 350D case, it has only started doing this since porting to my Phantek Evolv-X

Again symptom is - turn PC off via standard shutdown, when I attempt to power back on there's a click - but no action. I have to then unplug/switch the PSU off briefly - then wait a moment to power back on.

Could try just reinstalling parts.
There could be some not so tight contact somewhere.

Click could come from PSU's relay which bypasses input capacitor charging power draw limiting NTC resistor.
If motherboard doesn't hold PS_ON grounded PSU shuts down and that relay relaxes.

Change the battery? Check the mobo for any stray screws that might be jammed under mobo making contact. Also check any jumpers to ensure they're in correct position

I seem to have fixed it...my case has a 3 pin female cable that I'd assumed matched another 3 pin connector on the board, think removing that has fixed it.
