Power LED motherboard to case front panel connection header query

I've just been cleaning my case out and unplugged the motherboard to case power LED, power switch and reset switch connectors. All these connections were working fine with my case beforehand.

It's time to plug them all back in again and I forgot to note how they were all connected :(. Both the 2 pin power switch and reset switch have connected fine and have been confirmed with a power up.

However, i'm unsure how to reconnect the power LED connector to the motherboard header. The motherboard header - as confirmed in the manual - has a 2 pin header but the case front panel terminal is 3 pin (red and black on each end, middle blank). I say again that it was all working beforehand but I just can't remember how!

I've tried the power LED terminal so that it plugs into the 2 pins on the motherboard header both ways and the LED does not light.

Any ideas?

The motherboard is an MSI P55-GD80 and the case is an Akasa Eclipse 62 but it's not really important.

Cheers

EDIT: ahh, realised there was another header slightly above the power switch/reset header. Its now working.
