Power limitations?

Hey guys,

Since having Windows 10 on a biggish update, my GPU is all over the place

When I load up counter strike, the frames are limiting to 70fps and when I minimize then maximize, it goes back up to the usual 300fps cap..

On DOOM, the FPS is locked at 60fps as apposed to the 144fps cap that was on before??

I have updated drivers, rebooted etc but still remains? The games are playable but I am wondering how the hell I get my uncapped statistics back?

Anyone that can shed light on this would be great.

Oh, and its on the OCUK 1060 6gb edition GPU.

Should be an option in the game menus?

I'm sure there is a setting in 3D settings (nvidia control panel) where you can set it to prefer max refresh. If not you can go into nvidia control panel into resolution and set it to 120/144hz.

If it's a g-sync monitor ensure its set to enable for window+full screen.

*sigh* still no luck, anything else i can try, its not the end of the world, just i should not have to minimize and reopen to get the frame rate up again..
