Power Management in XP

Is their anyway you can set it so when a laptop is running off batts, close lid to hibernate, but standby if its running from mains. You can do this in win 7, but is there anyway todo this in xp?

Control Panel -> Power -> Advanced, it should be one of the options on there.

The number of times I've disabled this feature over the years, it's definitely there!


Unless you mean to decide what to do based on battery or mains... not sure on that one, I've only ever used it for the "Do Nothing" option
