Power Or CPU?

im trying to build a computer for a friend but ive come across a problem,the computer powers up without a graphics card in it then cpu fan spins etc (no post beeb are anything) but as soon as we but the graphics card in it doesnt work anymore fan spins for a split second but thats it, ive tried 2 psu's (not great ones) and 2 graphics cards 6200AGP and a 6800GS PCI-E, the motherboard is a ASROCK AGP & PCI-E....any help would be appreciated.

What PSU? Sounds like it's just not powerful enough.

Also try reset the CMOS.
