when i turn of the pc to turn it back on i have to pull ouy the mains cable and leave it for a good 10-15 minutes before it will start, leaving it overnight with the cable plugged in does not work

any thoughts to what may be the cause
when it first happened i stripped the pc down disconnecting drives etc one at a time to see if i could pin point the culprit
