So about a week ago I was fiddling around inside my case. I then turned my pc on and managed to knock a loose, exposed fan power cable into the my case. After a big spark the whole thing shut down and I feared the worst. Needless to say the fan cable was quickly removed.
Since then the computer works fine, but sometimes when turning it on the display doesn't show. Only when I remove some hdd's and other devices it will display. Also, when playing fairly intense games (far cry demo, gears of war) the computer tends crashes. This indicates to me a power problem. Have I permanently damaged my psu? Is there anything I can do short of unplugging all my harddrives?
Cheers.
