Power Problem

Hi, have a problem with my pc where it wont switch on from cold until after a few minutes and then it will come on as usual. I switch the mains on then press the power button and nothing . Does this every time without fail, think it's either the mb or psu. Any ideas? Can I rule out either one easily?

Hi, thanks for replys the psu is a hec 550td-pte and mb foxconn p45al. I have ran OCCT stress testing software and on power supply and gpu mode will cause the pc to crash but only when running a direct x10 simulation (direct x9 works fine). The video card is a ati radeon 4890. I'm going to try and test the psu on it's own to see if it will come on when cold and if it does then I think it is a mb problem.
