Hi,

A quicky as I am getting random reboots during using my rig and I am guessing it is the PSU. So here are some specs

Corsair 850 PSU Had this about 3 years now from new. No receipts :(
3930k O/C to 4.7
7990 on stock
GeForce 8500 GT
32 GB in 8 Sticks on X79 UD4 M/B 1600 o/c to 1866
10 x 120 fans
Water cooled with a D5 pump
Fan Controller
1 x SSD
2 x 7200 HDD

in in a NZXT Switch 810 case.

Is this too much for a 850 PSU ??

Doesn't seem too much for me but i am guessing.

Sometimes the machine will just reboot on logon to windows, no BSOD, sometimes during a game.

Thoughts ?

Consider reducing your overclock a little to see if its a stability issue due to that rather than a power one? Your PSU should have no issues with that parts list I wouldn't have thought?

If you google psu calculator there are several tools to tot up your power usage for a recommended PSU power level just to be safe.

I'm running a 990x at 4.5ghz 24Gb RAM 2 x 660ti in SLI a pair of SSDs 8 x Noiseblocker PL2 fans running from an Aquero fan controller and a D5 pump running my water cooling loop all off a 5 year old seasonic 750 watt PSU.

Its actually quite tight to my kit now, I think I worked out my peak power draw is probably about 720-730 watts. SO I will be upgrading to a Corsaid AX series as my next upgrade, but in general it works fine.
