Anybody kind enough to give me the minimum power requirements on these two cards? :)

7900GTX
X1900XT

I would say 400w of a good quality brand but if you feel you need abit more upto 500w is fine, you need well over 500w if you are thinking of crossfire/SLI
I use the seasonic 430w with my x1900xt

Nice, I didn't know the X1900XT actually needed so little power. I know locutus12 is running his X1800XT on a 400w and I ran mine on a 460w, I also know Gibbo mentioned OcUK selling OCed X1800XT systems with 380w PSUs too.

Would've thought that an X1900XT would need a lot more power, but I'm glad they don't as my next upgrade is still up in the air and one of my options is an X1900 master card. Would be nice if I can keep my PSU until I went Crossfire. :D

I think the manufacturers of both cards recommend a PSU of around 500W (i couldn't find the exact specifications) but they run fine on lower power PSU's. The X1900XT is more power hungry but some people run them on 350W shuttle PSU's.

It depends how the power is distributed, the Seasonic S12 has a lot of power on the +12v rail(s) and can run them on heavy loads 24/7 (efficiently too). Shuttle PSUs are another, good distribution and capable of sustaining heavy load.

Cheap 350 / 400 Watt PSUs will have weak rails and poor stability (and efficiency) when stretched.

Any ideas as to what the Amps minimums are too?

My PSU has 14A and 15A on the 12V rails. It's been running my pc with ease for almost a year now, and it's only been shut down for around a week in this time :)

Ps nothing is overclocked and my complete spec is in sig so it's not like i have a server load of HDD's. :D

The recommended at least 30A (combined) on the 12v rails. You should be fine with that PSU. My akasa 460w handles my card fine (with the same amount of amps on the 12v rails) so yours should be fine.
