power save mode after build...

ok was in bios but after a few minutes it cuts into power save mode and shuts off, what have I done wrong? thanks.

bios pc health check says my cpu fan is running but my 3 system fans aren't so I must have wired something up wrong there. Do you think this is the issue? I need a cuppa LOL

cpu tops out at 95 degrees C after after less than 5 minutes...

I turned the machine on with the sides off and all case fans and the heat sink fan is running.

I wouldn't let the temperature go above 60c.

Check that the heatsink is seated correctly.

I wouldn't worry about the system fans showing as not running in the bios. Most fans don't have sensors so they can't be measured.

how do I check that? its the standard intel cpu one.

i LOVE you guys!!! *kisses* I took it out and put it back in and its now holding at a steady 25 degrees C thats with the fans on high speed. Going to try see what temp it runs at with them lower and if it stays within range I'll keep them lower and quieter
