Hello i'm looking to save some electricity!! Last year my electricity supplier repaid me 100 from over payments, this year i owe them that from usage, around the same time i started sli

I've got two inno3d 980ti hybrids and i'm guessing these are draining power quite a bit especially when gaming.

I have two 1440p monitors and i'm considering a single card option without performance loss, which nvidia card would be equal to sli 980ti's and save on the juice

Ohhh bummer. Kind of tempted though new and shiny

Will the power saving outweigh the extra cost for the card and what is the best way to sell my cards, together with the sli bridge or separately?

Thanks

It might save you a penny or two an hour when gaming, so you will probably be waiting a while until you break even

I guess I'll have to make do! Thanks for the advice I'll hold off for now.

I'll be more careful with turning lights off

I've now lowered the brightness on one of my dells and turned the 3rd monitor off :(

Sad times can't believe I was using £60 a month fml

I've never heard of anyone spending out for x2 980ti's in sli and then worrying about the electricity bill...

How much gaming are you doing? I can't see your rug pulling more than 500w under absolute maximum load.

Even a high estimate calculating that its drawing 750w, for 100 hours a month, it should be costing less than £10 a month.

yeah its drawing around 750w when gaming and i've been slacking since the new year so i've been gaming hard with 3 monitors running as well.

But i start a new job monday so i'll only be on the bessy in the evenings so my bills will be halved. Stupid me didn't think about how gaming for hours and hours a day would add up lol. My psu calculated efficiency is 91% though :/

currently 172 in and 156 out
