power settings on overclocked i7

i have the overclockers 4ghz bundle and was wondering what the cpu perfoemance should be set at in power options ( control panel )
i have set it on max performance , min cpu 100% .. max cpu 100%
can you drop min cpu to say 5% without causing problems or do you have to leave at 100% with overclocked systems ?
in core temp the processor will drop to say 2.4ghz and power to 43watts (on 5% min )but will go upto 4ghz under load....but when on 100% its at 4ghz , 130 watts all the time

if you want your processor to operate ay maximum core speeds all the time, then you will need to disable intel speedstep in the CPU configuration in your BIOS. This will prevent the CPU from underclocking at times of low load / idle ect.

That should solve much of what your asking
