Power Socket Broadband

Is the power socket broadband connection method any good? I ask as i have to move my PC upstairs from the living room and was wondering if it was good? Not sure about wireless.

Always afraid that wireless will cause health problems with family!! Is that stupid thinking?

The home plug type devices aren't that bad (so I hear from my mate who uses them).

The levels used in wireless computer networking are a fraction of those in other products. Microwaves are far worse, then mobile phones, then wireless networking, then broadcast signals (TV etc.) and then finally background cosmic radiation.

As for 'power' networking, it's only as good as the wiring involved. Which can vary, even on new properties.

A friend at work uses this and says its fine. But as said above im sure like all kinds of internet connection, some will have better experiences than others.
