Have you listed your system spec as I can't see it any of the posts above?

spec is as follows:
Antec DF-35 case
Antec Tp-650 PSU
ASUS P8P67 mobo
Intel 2500K CPU
Arctic cooling cpu cooler
ASUS ATI 6970 graphics card
8GB (4x2GB) Corsair 1333MHz RAM
2x 500GB WD SATA II HDDs

I dont think the graphics cards dead as its only 2 weeks old and has been working fine for those 2 weeks until the mobo died, dont think its the PCI slot as ive tried the GPU in the other PCI-E slot (assume it should work in there)

ive reseated the memory, cleared the CMOS with the jumper, removed the battery on mobo and replaced, reseated GPU multiple times

i cant believe the mobo is dead! its just not POSTing as the USB keyboard doesnt come on either, obviously failing on something but i have no mobo speaker for beep codes :(

Check the Power Connections - Make sure you have both the 24-pin ATX and 4pin or 8pin supplementary power supplies securely connected to the motherboard. Reseat if necessary.

Front Panel Connections - Check that the front panel “Power On” cable is connected to the correct front-panel header on the motherboard. If you suspect a faulty switch or cable, then you can test this by “Shorting” the two pins with a flat head screw driver. If the PC starts with the screw driver but not with the front panel cable or switch then it would appear the front panel cable/switch is faulty. Likewise, check the “Reset” connector. If this is shorting, it can cause shutdown/restart problems.

Assuming that the basic power connections are in place and working, your next step is to test your PSU. Read through my “How to check if your PSU is working” guide for a step-by-step guide.

If everything appears ok with the connections and the PSU, then it’s looking like a faulty motherboard, possible faulty VRMs. Since it's only a few weeks old, then i would certainly contact the vendor.

Hope that helps

ive reseated ALL cables going into the motherboard

it was workin fine for 2 weeks until the weekend just gone when it turned itself on and wouldnt come back on. turned out it was a faulty mobo, when the 8pin power (or 4pin) was connected it wouldnt power on

replacement installed, it powers on but just no video. i cant believe ive had a mobo fail in 2 weeks and then the new one is DOA! surely thats too much of a coincidence?

only thing i havent tried is reseating the cpu...ill try that now

yup :P all 9 of them, as i say, its been working fine for 2 weeks with no problems at all, suddenly it turns itself off! new mobo, fixes that problem and gives me another!

i refuse to believe its a DOA mobo after having 1 fail after 2 weeks!

its not purely the video card though as the USB keyboard doesnt come on either, so its clearly failing on POST, no speaker though so no beep codes :(

REALLY annoying me now! ive reseated the CPU, still doesnt work...

tried with no USB/SATA devices plugged in, still doesnt work...

i cant RMA another mobo! this is ridiculous! 1st time i just bunged it all in and it all worked fine...for 2 weeks...

i think im gonna just get an asus p67 sabertooth mobo from here and see if that fixes it, then RMA the others for a refund

anyone got the sabertooth mobo? any good? also, ive got my 2x HDDS in a RAID0 config, will a new mobo pick this up from the disks or will it format the HDDs?!
