Power Supply Dimensions

Where are all the power supplies on sale nowdays, and advertised as "ATX2.2" not actually of the correct size?

Above is the spec sheet for ATX 2.2, which states (on page 33) that it can be a max of 140 (146 with mount hole) deep.

Now find me a single PSU that meets that criteria.

My antec true power 500w is 140mm deep, I knew it would be as all the PSUs i've used have always been the same size, cant believe I took my case side off just to do that! :rolleyes:

I was just going by the PSUs on OCuk that had dimensions, eg:

My current Corsair is 150mm as well.

Reason I'm annoyed is because I'm doing a bit of case design due to spare time + boredom, and it's annoying when things don't follow spec.

Surely the allowance for the extra mounting lugs (thus the overall length) provides the scope to increase the maximum length of the box though?
