I have an Antec truepower 750 power supply the fan become very loud so I replaced temporary with normal fan but now I wish to go back to silent running.

Will any 120mm PWM fan be OK?

Maybe I can use a resistor slow down current fan.

What are your thoughts please.

I can not seem to find a original replacement.

Thanks.

any pwm fan should be fine.

my psu just started rattling as well grrr!

I think it's only a year old as well so they must use the most rubbish fans possible to save 3 pence or whatever it would cost for a fan with decent bearings

Might not be a problem with the fan design, just sometimes hardware fails prematurely.

Buy any decent *silent* PWM fan with a high CFM and it should do the trick.

If you have a faulty PSU within the RMA/Warranty period though, i'd be inclined to suggest sending for a replacement.
