Power supply for Conroe

Will my Tagan 480W power supply do the job when i get my new 6600 conroe and DS3 Mobo ??

was just wondering..... It does the job ok for my P4 3.2ghz northwood at the moment. just didnt know if i would need a new power supply or not.

I have a 400W Antec PSU powering my E6600/P5WDHDeluxe/GSkill 2GB HZ/Leadtek 6200 LE Gfx/WD 320Gb Hd.

I had to do a fan mod on the 400w psu as it was the loudest thing. My previous silent/vquiet psu 300w would boot but whenever the processor got going the system would freeze.

I thought the conroe system would use less juice than the Dual Athlon MP 2000 system which ran fine on the 300w psu, guess it uses more power!

that psu calculator isnt entirely true i know yewen is runnign sli and and an overclocked amd athlon 4400+x2 on a 430w seasonic very comfortably
