Hi all,

Have two questions, I've recently come into possession of these two cards. First off I'm going to mostly be using them for research (okay maybe a little gaming) but will be running them for fair amounts of time at full load...

The 780, ideally would be destined for inside of a Dell Precision T3600 workstation, currently with 635W Gold power supply, dell custom removable, do I need to upgrade?

Secondly I am going to be buying a PSU for the Titan Z and was looking at the Corsair AX 860i, is this a good purchase or should I be looking for more Watts, I'm very unlikely to be adding a second card to either system

Many thanks for any advice given.

Thanks for the information, would seasonic and superflower be considered the best brands in power supply?? The Dell should be fine in that case its a server grade PSU.

With an i7 4820K @ 4.4GHz and a decent OC on the 780 I don't really see much past 400watt draw from the wall so should be fine on that front unless its a poor PSU.

For the other system I'd recommend looking at Seasonic or Superflower PSUs - I'm not sure what is in the AX860i currently but its probably not Seasonic internals and you need something with the Z that can reliably provide a fair chunk of power over the connectors your using - a decent brand 850+watt should be fine.

Also Sasahara out of interest why the analogue over the digital variant?
