Power supply for under £30?

these guys do know what they are talking about mate, i had a psu fail on me once and all that survived was the floppy drive!!

if you really cannot budge on price, then either dont buy one until you can, or look at second hand ones maybe, but stick to what you ave heard is good!!! although potage is often quite pricey on something like a psu, so you might not be any better off going second hand anyway.
 
If £30 is your budget then save up some more.

Cheap PSUs seem good value at the time but when they die and take out £xxx amount of quality hardware it's not funny.

There's been some good quality advice given here, listen to it :)
 
cheers for the advice think, i will have to save then bit more before i look at getting a decent one. yeah other one is working fine, only really reason i was looking at getting new one was that with my new graphics card, ATI state minimum of 300watts required for one.
