Power Supply for WD Mybook

Hi,

Was wondering where i can get a power supply for a WD Mybook Essential 2.0. The WD website only sells the US version and google didnt help much either.

if its anything like my mybook ver1.. all you need is a 12vdc 2A supply with + on the inner and - on the outer of the connector..

im guessing yours is the one with the light in the shape of a circle at the front..if it is then i think they do use the same type of power supply since on WD site the same power supply is listed as a replacement..

so what exactly should i be typing into google..had a look at currys earlier they had some universal adaptors but looked as if the plugs wouldnt work with the HD.

yeah the green circle light.

a universal one should be fine as long as the connector is the correct size.

think thats gonna be the main problem..finding one with the a connector the correct size..not gonna be able to buy that off the internet..
