Power supply [help please]

Hello,
I recently brought the leadex superflower gold 850w from overclockers and it looks great, however the plug supplied is a 2 pin (rounded) which doesn't work in the UK (3 pin rectangle).

The plug itself says on it 16A 250V~

My question is, Can I change it with a plug that I already own which is a 5A 250V~ (currently being used in my old PC)

If I am correct, the "##A" is just the type of plug so this other plug should still work in the same way regardless of its model?

That's a amperage rating- the plug is fused at 5amps.

Unlikely your PC will ever draw that (that 5A current would be about 1.2kW of power) so you can use that cable fine.

My PC Power & Cooling Silencer MK III came like that, with a 2 prong connector.. I just swapped the kettle lead with a standard UK one and it works perfect.
