Hey

I have got a 400w value select PSU from ****** and I'm wondering, will 400w be enough to power a Swiftech CPU compact watercooling kit, and a Gainwind 8800Gt, along with an Asus M2N-MX motherboard, AMD 64 x 2 4800+ and 2GB of Kingston Ram.

Thanks
Ben

Probably on the limit at a guess, I don't think Colorsit are much better than any generic brand. Maybe try without watercooling or overclocks for the month to keep the load lower.

If it's a cheap, lightweight PSU then it's probably not all that great to be honest. Give it a shot, but look at upgrading it to a branded one as soon as possible.

colorsIT?

ive used them for a test build a while back, all i can say is burn it, burn it now *lights a stake on fire and attaches psu to a tree.

i wouldnt run any pc of it, especially the 400w one. you can try the 8800gt but i wouldnt. it may be okay if you use an old card that doesnt need power input until you can get a corsair 450w or equivalent (doesnt even cost a lot-get one, now).
