Power Supply in Question...

I have a DELL E520 which has served me well, however I recently decided to change to a Dell Optiplex 760.

Before I made this change I was using a power adapter in the E520 to power the PCI-E GEFORCE graphics card. My new machine does not have this adapted embedded in the power supply...

What should I do? I still have both machines, however will be giving the E520 to my mum, is it safe to simply switch-over the power supplies ?

Or.... should I buy a new power supply? If so any recommendations ?

Any help would be appreciated ;)

Swap them if they are the same/ have similar power output. Make sure each one has enough power to run the machine that they will be going in.

Unless of course your Mum is a hardcore gamer and NEEDS the adaptor for her gaming needs?
