Power Supply Issues

Wondering if anyone may have some advice as to what is causing the problem, as in the last month or so I've lost 2 PSU's and it is annoying and expensive to replace them.

My System spec.

AMD X2 4400
4 x 512MB Corsair Memory
A8R32-MVP Deluxe motherboard
2 X1800 XT's
4 Sata HDD's
Enermax Noisetaker 600w PSU

The odd thing is, I've had the same setup for the best part of 18 months with the exception of the motherboard which I recently changed after my PSU went the first time.

Up until about a month or so ago, I never had any issues with the PSU, but then it would start to randomly just switch itself off, it seemed more evident when using both cards, however it would still randomly power off with just one X1800 plugged in.

At that time I had a RDX200 CF-DR motherboard and eventually the PSU went boom after a couple of days of it shutting off. So I bought a new PSU, the same version and model that I had previously had, as I have no reason to believe that anything caused the PSU to die.

However with the new PSU, there are still the random shutdown's and after much playing around and frustration, I decide to buy a new motherboard to the Asus one I have now, and all the problems I had, stopped. Everything was fine until this morning where once again it just went pop and died.

So my question is, is 600W enough? As it seems bit too much of a coincidence for 2 PSU's to die in a month, or am I over looking something else which may be causing the PSU to die?

I'd appreciate any advice you may be able to give, thanks.
