Hi, I want to test and see how noisy my power supply is at it's maximum load. It's a OCZ 550w Fatal1ty. Is their any way I can make it draw it's full power?

Pretty much if you run any future mark program, that will strain your system quite hard. Playing a resource rich game such as Crysis. I believe there are some programs that you can stress test your whole system on, you can chose how long you want to do it for.

Is there any particular reason why you want to find out?

Safely? Probably not. Are you sure you wouldn't rather test how loud it is when your computer is at full load, by running intel burn test and furmark at once?

Just for a review that I am doing, and I wanted to add in a part about how it performs at full load, would the intel burn test or any other test provide similar results?

It's impossible to do with that hardware.

You're doing this for that reviewer competition, right? I'm sure Oc Uk will understand if you tell them that particular test was unobtainable.

My i7 setup pulls 480w full load, (i7 @ 4ghz and crossfire 5850) so you will not break a sweat on the psu with your current system
