Power Supply Orientation

I have been thinking about the airflow in my Lian Li V1000 case. I have my dark power pro upside down at the bottom of the case. Would it be better right way up and therefore drawing the warmer air from inside the case and away from the system?

In cases where the psu is at the bottom, i have always popped the psu in upside down, with the fan facing upwards.

Yes so the fan is underneath the psu

nooo i like to have the fan facing towards the top of the case, first time i done it in my antec 300 the psu got quite hot with the fan facing the bottom of the case, the other way it seems a lot cooler to the touch.

Whatever way provides the least restricted flow of air is best.

Directly above the psu is a separating plate with about 1cm clearance, underneath the psu the case is perforated and has a good 2" clearance above the floor (answered my own question :rolleyes:
