So I bought a Corsair 850x PSU.

The PSU in my case sits on the bottom of the case. There is a grill on top and underneath the PSU enclosure of the case. I wasn't sure where to have the PSU drawing air from underneath the case or from the internals of the case.

I figured I didnt want the GPU blowing hot air in to the PSU so orientated it to face the bottom and draw air from underneath the case.

Does this sound right?

It depends on your case and how it is situated.

Most of the time it's best to have it drawing cool air in from the bottom (fan down), but if your case sits low to the ground and you keep it on thick carpet or something it could be better to have it the other way around.

Passive mode cooling PSUs would be better put fan upwards to allow heat evaporate through natural convection when fan isn't running.
But when fan is running it overrides natural convection completely and only thing mattering is that fan gets air.
(preferably without lots of dust in it)

200W smaller PSU would have been perfectly enough.
Gaming power draw of those parts is around 300W.

Just need to clean the filter regularly and it'll be fine.

@ OP, Are you asking due to the sticker being upside down?

I cannot remember if mines were or not AX1600i (or one side only) but it also came with extra magnetic stickers so you can colour match your build.

My 650x has labels on both sides so that whichever way it is orientated the label should be the right way up.
