Power Supply pinout conversion?

Can anyone confirm that if I rewire the main 24 pin plug on a ATXEPS PSU to the correct pin configuration of a ATX-GES supply as used by tyan on the older dual cpu mobos like the K7 etc.

It would work?

Yes you can!

The 24 pin and 8 pin plug (4+4) need completely rewiring, but not that big a deal once you've looked at a pin layout for both types.
