Just tried sticking my thermaltake butterfly in my second pc and it refuses to power it :(. I know the supply is fine as it powered this pc fine and the one it's suppose to power now is a lot lower spec.

Abit NF7
Geforce 4 ti4200
768mb ram
1 hdd + 1 cd writer+1 dvd writer.
xp 1800

Came out of this pc which is

9800pro
3200+
1gb ram
2 hdd
2 dvd writers + cd writer
A7N8X deluxe

and it was fine here. What happens is the standby light on the nf7 comes on , then goes out after a second or so.

Plugging in my only other power supply (Q-tec :( ) the second machines works fine.

Only thing I can think of is the thermaltakes 12V rail seems a tad low (11.65-11.7) and the Q-tecs is just over 12v. Both measured with a meter so I know there correct.

Is the thermaltakes 12V not enough for the NF7? , as that has the extra 4 pin 12v connector while the A7N8X does not.
