Hope some one can help ive got a 1000 watt power supply what i want to know is does that supply use 1000 watt all the time or is it just the maximum.Say my system uses 460 watt total my bill be for 1000 watt or 460 stupid question i know
The system will only ever use what it needs at any given time so even though you have a 1000 Watt PSU doesn't mean it's using that sort of wattage all the time. In fact it's probably not using anything even close to that figure..... ever!
