My friend is looking for a PSU that has the following attributes:

- 2 or more 12V rails
- Modular
- 38A on each of the 12V rails
- 600W+, more if possible.

I said this was entirely possible, until he said he wants it for under £100. Anyone have anything that comes close to this spec? I think he would be alright if there is only 1 12V rail, as long as it wasn't too pricy.

Thanks in advance! :D

He's wondering if that would be ok to SLI 560's or 570's in the future? I think its too low on the watts front...

Does 1 single rail really matter? I have OCZ ZX 1000W, that is only 1 rail but at 83A so its pretty hefty!

Thats what I said, i don't know why he wants more than 1.... he just said he doesn't even want to SLI at the moment!

Ok one more question, could he run a 570 off a 750W 2x24A rail'd supply? I think he could? Thats the supply he has at the moment!

Just to confirm, that Antec PSU will power Gtx 570 SLI?

Cheers

Yes (the 750w new truepower).

750w or more is what you need for GTX570 in sli and obviously make sure its a good PSU, which that Antec certainly is.

850W will do GTX580's sli.
