Power Supply - The Battle of OCZ and Antec

I ordered the OCZ 500W as part of my new system yesterday, was hoping it would be here today but unfortunately my mobo went out of stock, so I can't comment on it yet.

Cool, please do inform me of your findings once you get it, and good luck with your build!

Thank you, everyone else, for your input, too. I think I'll make this a poll style thing and tally it up. I can't find a review for that Antec, you see, but it's specs seem to be good. :D

I'm dismissing the Antec on the grounds that it has no review and not even an 80+ efficiency certification visible.

So now its the OCZ versus...?

I'm planning on getting a 5800 card in the future, so will that really hold? I know the OCZ runs a 4870X2 with no issue.

I see.

So the OCZ has 432W over 2 rails (18A each), then that's 216W per rail, which is well enough for the single GPU 5800 cards.

Here is a similar OCZ PSU, namely, the stealth. I don't understand this table because it looks like the 3.3 and 5V are added into the 12V or.... huh?

What does that mean?
